On occasions, doctors are not in a position to categorically define the 'Medical Cause of Death.' In nearly all of these circumstances, a post mortem examination (autopsy) of the body, is mandatory.
Contact with Exmouth & District Funeral Services at this early stage is advantageous. Over the years we have developed valuable working relationships with the Coroner's Officers and we can often establish a provisional date for the funeral, enabling families to progress with some arrangements. We can liaise with the Coroner's Office on your behalf keeping you fully informed and we will confirm the date of the funeral as soon as this information is available.
